Grim Salvo is a duo of two artists, SLEUTH (Patrick Jobe) and MOSSBACK (Spencer Linn). The two are childhood friends hailing from Portland, Oregon. The name “Grim Salvo” , according to SLEUTH and MOSSBACK is a name that “we randomly made up but the meaning perfectly encapsulates our purpose.”
The two are also two parts of the three man production team, ³³marrow, which consists of SLEUTH and MOSSBACK, as well as Jeremy Klein, an audio engineer who also is from Portland.
Additionally, the two also are a part of The Odious, under which they release music that consists of a much heavier sound. A number of the tracks released by The Odious also are produced by Jeremy Klein. As of the most recent album, The Odious consists of Spencer Linn, Patrick Jobe, Garrett Haag, and Austin Haag.
